What is tracking ? How it works ?

Throughout this article, we are going to discuss what a tracking is and how it can be used for your benefit. Click on the tracking in the desktop client to see the tracked words.

Tracking

Let us consider Ram, an engineering student who is preparing for an upcoming exam. He usually searches the internet whenever he has doubts about a subject. In spite of not being able to speak English well, he used to note down unfamiliar vocabulary whenever he was reading books, browsing the internet, and reading newspapers/blogs etc.

In general, he writes down the vocabulary for a few days, then he stops because of other priorities. A process like this is not effective and it will be diluted after a short period

Now let's see what Nischi can do for Ram to learn the unfamiliar vocabulary.

  • If he encounters an unfamiliar word while studying, he can quickly see its meaning and translation by pressing Ctrl+C.
  • By pressing Ctrl+C on a paragraph, he can find out the unfamiliar words in that paragraph.
  • Nischi keeps track of all copied words by default. However, you can control these tracking options in the Tracking Settings.

Tracking Settings

By default, tracking is turned off. The first time you use this feature, you will need to enable it.
